I think someone unfriended me because of someone else who's on my friends list that I don't even know irl. Weird.

That happened to me recently as well. There was a big catfight between two readers in the comments to one of my posts, and at the end it was hinted that if I didn't drop reader A, reader B would drop me. I didn't, so she dropped me. It was like junior high, but with women in their 30s. As you say - weird.

That kind of stuff is so silly. I was on the other side of that months ago: somebody unfriended one of my friends for being friends with me. *rolls eyes*

It does stink. But this is the free market of ideas. Some people will vote with their feet if they don't like what they are seeing in comments and discussion. It is everyone's right to associate or disassociate with whomever they wish. I would not take this personally.
